– 50-65 pound cardstock – Scissors and/or cutting machine  – Glue Gun – Templates for Emma-style dahlias

Cutting Out Giant Paper Dahlia Pieces by Hand

You can easily make these DIY giant paper dahlias by hand. Use the template and a good pair of scissors and follow the instructions.

Step 1: Cut Out Your Dahlia Petals

Cut out the following pieces: – XL paper dahlia petals – 26 – Large dahlia petals – 10 – Medium dahlia petals – 10 – Small dahlia petals – 8

Step 2: Assemble The Giant Paper Dahlia Petals

Glue one of the smaller circles on top of the large circle. Assemble each petal into a cone shape by rolling one side of the tab over the other.
