As the years have gone by and I have always tried to create something unique each year at the holidays, especially on the Christmas tree.

I made my large vibrant paper ornaments this year for my white tree, then resolved it needed a little extra punch with some decorative tinsel Christmas tree letters.

The first step is to choose your paint colors and paint all the letters. You can totally make this more traditional if you’re not into crushing on the bright colors like me. 🙂

Glue a small ribbon loop onto the back of the letter near the top. The loop will now allow you to hang it on the tree!

Add glue to the outer edge of the letters and shape your tinsel garland around each one, framing the letters.

Keep going till it meets the starting point of your tinsel and finish it off.
